Health
Health care costs need to be dealt with. Rising costs are putting stress on our government as well as businesses. Something must be done.
Social Security
The government needs to stop raiding the S.S. piggy bank. Common sense solutions exist to keep this important program going into the future.

Budget
The budget needs balanced. Fiscal responsibility starts there. The long-term future of the Commonwealth depends on responsible budgeting.
Energy
My view on energy policy would be a mix of fossil & renewable energy. We must become energy independent yet conscience of our environment.

Guns
I am pro 2nd Amendment. Guns are not the problem. Mental health needs to be a major focus as well. Punish the bad guys, not the law abiding.
Education
Education funding needs an overhaul. Our poorest districts need the most help, yet they do not receive it.
Poverty
We need to address this issue. In my district it is a huge battle. If we educate the public I feel we can make the necessary changes needed.
Economy
The economy is slowly improving. In the Commonwealth there are some tax changes that could be enacted to spur economic growth in PA.
Abortion
I am pro choice. I am also for education and prevention, which can help stop unwanted pregnancies, which in turn prevents abortions.
Government Reform
Too many see our government as corrupt. Government itself cannot be corrupt, only the people we send there to represent us can be corrupt.
Issues & Policy Positions
Environment
I believe that every citizen deserves clean air and water. There must be a balance between that and responsible businesses not polluting.
Civil Rights
We are all human. We should all be treated equally. Every human being has that right. We are more alike than we are different.
Taxes
The tax code can be changed to encourage growth and development. We need to reward good behavior and punish bad behavior.

Crime
Violent crime rates have been steadily declining. Drug offenses should be treated as a health problem, not a criminal justice problem.
